We haven't had time to get out and bird yet, but we have seen some roadside birds while driving through Indiana. We spotted some Red-winged Blackbirds, American Crows, Rock Pigeons, probably some Starlings, and we saw some ducks and geese flying near some ponds. It's around 50 degrees here today and most of the ponds and lakes we have seen are thawing.
We just drove over a river that had a Great Blue Heron perched on a tree branch scoping out it's future meal.
Happy Birding!
